Arbico Plc set to hold Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 9.

Arbico Plc has announced that it will be hosting its Annual General Meeting on the 9th day of September, 2021 at 11:00am prompt.

According to a statement signed by the company’s secretary, Olaniwun Ajayi, and seen by nairametrics, the meeting will hold at Ilupeju, Lagos on the aforementioned date and time.

Sequel to this, the following issues will be discussed;

  • The audited financial statement for the year ended December 31, 2020, and the report of its Directors, auditor, and the audit committee.
  • Board appointments will also be considered and ratified.
  • To fix remuneration of managers and Directors in FY 2021.
  • To elect shareholders’ representatives of the statutory audit committee.

Furthermore, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance of the AGM will be by proxy. Additionally, the firm also announced that the AGM will be streamed live online for shareholders and other stakeholders who will not be attending physically. Arbico Plc projects profit after tax of N25.61million in Q3 2021.

Arbico Plc, a leading construction and civil engineering company in Nigeria, has released its earnings forecasts for the third quarter of the year (Q3, 2021).

  • Revenue was projected at N914.55 million
  • Cost of sales was projected at N548.73 million
  • Total operating expenses projection of N3359.5 million
  • Operating profit was projected at N37.7 million
  • Tax was projected at N122.05 million
  • Profit after tax was projected at N25.61 million.

2020 FY Results: Arbico Plc reports a 21.6% decline in profit.

Arbico Plc released its full-year results for the year ended 31st December 2020.

  • Revenue for the year was N5.56 billion. (-8.53% YoY)
  • Cost of sales was N4.4 billion. (+8.4% YoY)
  • Administrative expenses totaled N947.03 million. (-12.7% YoY)
  • Operating profit was N642.23 million. (+1,015% YoY)
  • Profit for the year was N413.81 million. (-21.6% YoY)
  • Earnings per share of N5.07 Vs N3.56.
  • No dividend announcement was made.
